Making Cupcake Pops with the Kids

Last week there was a snow day so I made some Cupcake Pops with the babies and it was a lot of fun and very easy to do!  Here are super simple directions along with some pictures.

We happened to have a cake and icing kit already from a Christmas gift so we were able to use that instead of making it from scratch (this time).

Baby M put the baby cupcake liners in the pans while Lil O helped add the ingredients.

Then Baby M helped stir.

I added the batter to the pans and then we waited.

Cooling to ice.

After they were cooled I used a knife to cut the paper of the liner so that the girls could add the stick.  Lil O helped me tie some ribbon into knots on the stick to keep the cupcakes from sliding on down the stick.  We then iced the mini cupcakes and added sprinkles!!

An easy holder was a flower pot full of marbles!  Worked perfectly!

I made these cupcake pops because of a book that I was reviewing at the time.  The kids loved helping me in the kitchen and I loved eating their hard work!
